To show a complete knowledge of the Wood Vertical Bandsaw, the student will cut out a curved shape using scrap wood.
To show basic knowledge of the Bandsaw, the student will demonstrate safely cutting out a curved shape using scrap wood. Remember to set the blade guide height approximately 1/4" above the top of the material to limit blade exposure. When cutting a curve, make sure the radius is not too tight for the blade being used.
