Description
A rotary punch, also known as a turret punch, is a type of punch press used for metal forming by punching. The punch in the shop is a "C Frame" type punch and is used to shear holes in materials. The turret contains a variety of punches. The selected punch and die required needs to be properly aligned before use. You can use the laser to cut any shapes needed as the rotary punch is not currently setup with any dies.
Here is an example of this piece of equipment being used.
